is kaplan live programme a must

Hi,
I don't think they are a must. Even the videos are not a must except may be Behavioural sciences and Genetics( If you are new to these subjects). Doing USMLE world at least once (ideally twice) and using First aid fro review would do.

hi devi, i checked w S&S(y'know who i'm talking abt, the one who got 99's recently)...they did it with just 7-8 months of self-study and according to them only beh science videos would do. but beh science videos are a must. it's around 18-20 hrs of video...watch them along with kaplan lecture notes...clears this elusive subject for imgs. and usmle world subscribe during 2nd reading...for 2 months. that's enuf time...also do nbme tests...if score around 620...it equals to a 99 around actual step 1. :)
