cs result coming late
Hi everybody
I got 99 in step 1 and 2 CK.my CS result will be coming late-on dec 9th only as my exam date is on oct 16th. Will I be able to aply for 2010 matching? Do I hve to have a CS result in hand for applyng for residency programme? what should I do for USMLE transcript -should I apply late for it?Can I take my interviews in late decembnber or early Jan? please help...........

No, u dont need your CS result on hand before applying. ECFMG recommends to 'take' CS before dec. U can apply for the residency and take interviews. Update the programs after u get ur results. Most of the programs would want u get ECFMG certified latest before submission of rank order list.
u can request for USMLE transcript when u r applyin to the programs thru ERAS on sept 1st.
one of my friend got matched with CS result pending at the time of his interview (ofcourse he did passsed and got certified before jan).
